If you’re serious about building wealth, stop thinking its a race to own as many businesses as you can immediately… Most people don’t need another venture.
They need Structure. They need Systems & Processes. They need to build one business at a time.

When people ask how I got to 10+ businesses, the truth is simple:
I made one work first.

I didn’t move on to the next venture until the first one was built, sustainable, and incredible.

Not just profitable on paper, but profitable enough to support another venture if need be.

Built to operate without me being on the floor and behind the register every single day.

That’s the part most people skip… the part that actually takes skill, grit, time, and patience…

Thats why most of their businesses don’t make it.

Entrepreneurs Are Addicts for Opportunity

It’s in our nature to chase ideas…and then the next idea.
We spot market gaps, we imagine new plays, and we believe we can build anything.

The hardest part is honing that “drive to grow” in and become disciplined

Before you start your next thing, ask yourself:

  • Is your current business producing predictable cash flow?

  • Could it operate without you for a week without collapsing?

  • Do you have documented processes, trained staff, and clear customer/client workflows?

If the answer is no, you don’t own a business yet.
You own a job with a fancy title. You are essentially your company’s highest paid employee.

The HERITAGE Co. Blueprint

Before I moved on to the next venture, I spent three years building out HERITAGE Wine & Spirits with my brother.

We didn’t just open the doors and hope people came.
We documented every process, refined our margins, and made sure the customer experience was dialed in.

Some things we really focused on were:

  1. Inventory management - Finding the right POS to manage flows & creating a way to capture new product requests.

  2. Sales training - Built out Employee Manuals, Training protocols, and Task Sheets

  3. Vendor systems - Developed relationships with vendors, distributors, and even found some our competitors didn’t use prior to us bringing them to our markets.

  4. Marketing - Developed strong consistent branding around our “Family Business”, developed well positioned real estate to increase visibility and increased community involvement. Social Media then became a stronger focal point of our marketing efforts.

  5. Profit margins - Kept up with competitor margins and adjusted often till we found our sweet spot.

We knew that unless the business could run without our day-to-day micromanagement, it wasn’t ready to fund anything else.

Only once HERITAGE was systemized and sustainable did we begin exploring the next opportunity.

That discipline was the difference.
